UK IT Consultancy Gains Place On NHS Framework

Sep 23, 2014

UK IT consultancy and service provider Trustmarque has been awarded a place on the NHS National Service Scotland (NSS) framework agreement.

The NSS framework allows all Scottish NHS organisations to purchase IT services via a mini tender process to help with the development of information and communication strategies, IT infrastructure services, IT architecture, design expertise and IT programme and project management.

Trustmarque joins the framework agreement under Lot One for General IT Specialist Services.

“This framework is significant as it represents the continuation of the long standing partnership between Trustmarque and NHS Scotland,” claimed the firm’s head of UK public sector Mark Garrity.

“Since 2012 we have managed the NHS software and service framework and delivered a number of service programme to individual Boards.

“This new contract will enable Trustmarque to extend our reach and help support all the NHS boards with specialist IT services that are designed to drive down costs, improve efficiencies and to manage the complex delivery of complex IT projects and programmes,” he added.

“Longstanding Relationship With UK Public Sector”

The company claims to have an existing footprint within the NHS in England and Wales, a long standing relationship that NHS NSS has welcomed.

“Trustmarque has been a long-standing partner who has consistently delivered value for the NHS Boards in Scotland for a number of years,” claimed NHS NSS senior business and procurement advisor George Futcher.

“This new framework will enable NHS Scotland to pursue its programme of improved management and controls based on the eHealth strategy and enable Boards to deliver new programmes of work through specialist services.

“I look forward to working with Trustmarque and developing the relationship further as they continue to deliver software and IT services to support the boards,” he added.

“Trustmarque’s heritage in assisting NHS organisations to meet their individual objectives is unsurpassed – our understanding of the specific needs of the NHS coupled with a proven track record in delivering consistent value, expertise and service, were pivotal factors in our success,” claimed Garrity.
