Introducing Think Cloud For Government 2015

Jul 04, 2014

Have you looked ahead to 2015 yet – and what you expect to be doing around the G-Cloud?

It is a while ahead, yes, but for the buyers and sellers of public ICT that read 24n.biz it’s probably already time to be drawing up plans for the 2015-16 FY… a year that could well be marked by a change of government (following the May 2015 General Election).

2015 is also going to be a year when more of the ‘oligopoly’ central government ‘locked-in’ contracts become open to competition – with many observers looking to G-Cloud vendors to offer serious competition for these contacts. As much as 50% of new IT spending in central government alone is anticipated as happening in the cloud, say the experts.

Open A Dialogue With G-Cloud Suppliers

In light of these trends and imminent developments, it might be worth you putting a February event in your diary that addresses this agenda: the THINK Cloud for Government conference and expo.

Scheduled for Tuesday 10th February at the easily-accessible Business Design Centre in Islington, London, the event is the largest dedicated UK public sector cloud event on the calendar.

The agenda features key speakers and stakeholders such as Stephen Allott, SME Crown Representative and Tony Singleton, G-Cloud programme director, while the accompanying expo will offer excellent opportunities to open dialogues with leading G-Cloud suppliers.

We’ll be featuring more about the event in the upcoming months, but wanted to draw your attention to what promises to be a very useful event nice and early.

See you in Islington!
