Amazon Web Services Hosting Free Public Sector October Cloud Event

Oct 14, 2014

If you're interested in public sector cloud, you might want to check out an interesting Amazon Web Services (AWS) event taking place later in London on the topic.

At its AWS Government, Education and Nonprofits Symposium, the cloud service provider says it plans to offer UK government, education, and nonprofit leaders and technical professionals an introduction to the AWS Cloud, plus "advanced guidance" on cloud architecture and engineering.

The event, taking place on October 21st, also claims to have many opportunities to share and exchange ideas, as well as commerical partners looking to build business relationships with public sector ICT managers attending.

24n.biz is popping along as we think all of this sounds useful - as well as the chance to hear about public sector customers who have "successfully built and migrated their applications to the AWS Cloud and learn their best practices," in AWS' words.

The event is free - but seating is limited in numbers, so best try and reserve a place soon.

See you there - and don't be shy about asking us what we see as the next steps in public sector cloud either!
