Nov 12, 2014

Specialist systems and business process services provider Civica has acquired software consultancy and services group Asidua.

Asidua claims to specialise in software, integration and consultancy services for government and corporate customers in the UK and internationally, with particular expertise in local government contact management and application integration and in specialist telecoms systems.

The firm has also developed its Customer Contact Platform, which aims to allow organisations to transform services while reducing the cost of contact through seamless integration.

Civica claims the acquisition will bring complementary expertise to the table, with Asidua forming part of Civica’s Digital Solutions business to support customers looking to modernise services and make savings through digital transformation.

Civica also claims its capabilities will be extended, allowing it to continue to help organisations create more immediate, agile and connected ways of working.

“A Strong Partnership”

“I am delighted to welcome Asidua to the Group. The company brings market-leading expertise which broadens our support to customers at an important time in the market,” claimed Simon Downing, Civica chief executive.

“In line with our strategy to help customers transform the way they work, the combined business is very well placed to respond to the needs of customers, in particularly as they seek to deliver major service and financial improvements through digital transformation,” he added.

“This is a very positive development for customers, partners and employees,” claimed Asidua’s chief executive Steve Brankin.

“As part of Civica, Asidua will benefit from the Group’s existing scale of operations. We have achieved good momentum and we look forward to building on our joint strengths and vision in order to deliver increasing value to customers,” he added.
