TechnologyOne Appoints New Education Sector Tsar

Leading enterprise software provider TechnologyOne has announced the appointment of Keith Hawkes as its Industry Manager for Education in the United Kingdom.

Hawkes is an experienced education software professional, with experience working with institutions across the UK, South East Asia Pacific and North America.

“We’re delighted to welcome Keith back to TechnologyOne. Keith’s broad technical expertise and sales management experience within the education sector makes him a valuable addition to our team,” said TechnologyOne’s Operating Officer for the United Kingdom, Roger Phare.

“In his role as Industry Manager, Keith will drive our Further Education and Higher Education business in the UK," adding that Hawkes has taken on responsibility for sales and marketing, R&D product development, relationship management, account management and government and industry liaison.

Hawkes’ appointment signifies TechnologyOne’s dedication to the education sector in the United Kingdom, he went on to claim.

“Education is our fastest growing sector in the UK, and we are seeing a significant interest in our enterprise software as a service solution designed specifically for further education and higher education institutions. 

“We expect this to be our biggest growth area in the short to medium term, and are investing in the business accordingly.”

Hawkes will be representing his new bosses at  at number of upcoming events, including the Further and Higher Education Strategy Forum, the British Finance Directors Group and UCISA 2016.
