Allpay Set To Enhance Existing Payment Solutions

Oct 01, 2014

Payment solutions provider allpay has announced its growth intentions, claiming it will enhance the current systems it offers.

Such enhancements include a “complete payment gateway solution for merchants” which the supplier hopes to rollout next year.

It plans for the new solution to integrate with UK acquirers of all cards types, offer competitive pricing and enhance fraud security features for the public, retail and utility sectors.

During the past 18 months, allpay has been attempting to implement a channel shift strategy from cash to online and mobile payments to support its clients.

It hopes that this move will allow it to provide a multi-channel offering to support the growing popularity of new payment methods.

“New technology is transforming the way we pay and the future looks set to be one of the multi-payment options, including contactless, Chip and PIN and online payments, which are continuing to take over from cash and cheques,” claimed allpay managing director Tony Killeen.

“We are planning to develop a payments infrastructure that is as flexible as possible to deliver the widest range of payments to customers,” he added.

“Already Successful”

The company claims it currently handles £4.5bn per year on behalf of its clients and processes more than 55m transactions annually across cash, card acceptance and direct debit.

The firm’s Mobile Payment App for bill payments was shortlisted for Best Mobile Application at this year’s Emerging Payments Awards after it collected more than £80m for customers.

Allpay payments solutions are always available to purchase via the G-Cloud framework.
