Great Ormond Street Hospital Begins Search For CRM Software Solution

Feb 24, 2014

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) has revealed it is searching for a CRM software supplier via a public tender.

GOSHCC calls for vendors and implementation partners to provide and install an appropriate CRM system, hosting and maintenance solution.

According to the tender, the contract can be divided into different lots so the charity’s requirements can be met by a number of different suppliers if needed.

The winning bidder(s) must be fully compliant with UK charity regulatory and legislation requirements.

The contract notice also lists the following as necessary:

·         adherence to the Data Protection Act

·         set-up and claiming of direct debits via BACS transmission

·         set-up of Gift Aid declarations, claims and their transition to HMRC

·         integration with third party fundraising suppliers such as Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving

·         incorporation of a third party finance and accounting system.

Those interested in making a deal must send an expression of interest and a completed online vendor survey pre-qualification questionnaire to GOSHCC, after which a short-list of companies will be drawn up.

These will then be invited to submit further information and may be asked to give demonstrations of their CRM product to the charity’s project team in April.

Finally, two or three potential firms will be invited to participate in a proof-of-concept during May and June before a final recommendation is given to the governing board of the charitable organisation in July.

The tender does not give details of the value of the contract and it is not covered by the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).
