South Lakes Housing Begins To Support Mobile Working

Nov 18, 2014

South Lakes Housing (SLH), a not-for-profit provider of social housing, has selected a supplier for a fully integrated CRM and housing management solution.

The organisation hopes that the new software will enable mobile working, an important aspect of tenancy services, and help it support the Universal Credit rollout and changes to bedroom tax.

Specialist systems and business process services provider Civica will deliver the solution as part of a five-year agreement.

SLH purchased the firm’s Housing Cx solution via the Local Authority Software Applications (LASA) framework which is operated by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

Civica Housing Cx will be replacing the previous system used by the housing provider, Northgate OHMS system.

Improving Customer Service

SLH is increasing its focus on customer service and required a flexible system that would support its expanding requirements and improve limited remote access that was hindering mobile working.

It also required a solution that would ensure a seamless experience for both staff and tenants.

“We needed a best-of-breed solution to support our new Customers Service team to provide and efficient, fully integrated solution with web-based mobile working to optimise the use of our mobile devices and provide and enhanced off-site customer service,” claimed Lindsay Simons, director of corporate services at the housing provider.

“Via a much more streamlined procurement process, we recognised that the Civica Housing Cx solution could provide the integration we needed and was the right partner to develop future models of working and further improve the service we offer our tenants,” she added.
