Vacancy Filler Joins G-Cloud

Apr 02, 2015

Recruitment software supplier Vacancy Filler has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud procurement framework in an agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

After following the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) tendering process, the firm was added to G-Cloud so it could provide recruitment software to the public sector.

The company claims the software it provides is unique, providing a comprehensive, flexible, integrated, sophisticated and easy to use solution that streamlines the recruitment process for both candidate and recruiter.

With its products, HR teams, front-line managers and senior managers are able to automate and centralise the recruitment process to save time and money, recruit and retain top talent while reducing reliance on recruitment agencies, improve candidate experience and build employer brand and align recruitment activity with the organisation’s top goals and priorities.

Vacancy Filler is also able to offer a low cost of ownership, improve the quality of hire and a measurable return on investment (ROI).

It aims to offer 80% of the functionality of tier one software vendors at 20% of the cost.

Customers include Transport for Greater Manchester, Burton and South Derbyshire College and Broadway Homelessness and Support.

G-Cloud And Simplicity

“We are very pleased that Vacancy Filler and its recruitment software platform will be listed in the CCS Digital Marketplace where suppliers offer their services to the public sector via the G-Cloud framework,” claimed Vacancy Filler sales director Tony Brookes.

“The agreement we have signed is with G-Cloud 6 – lot 3 Software as a Service – which is the sixth iteration of the framework.

“Public sector bodies can review and buy these services through the Digital Marketplace themselves without having to go to tender,” Brookes added.

To date, £517m has been spent via the G-Cloud framework since it opened for business, of which, 49% of total sales by value and 59% by volume has gone to SMEs.
