Flagship B2B Ecommerce Site Launches New Look

''On balance... Libra has the edge''

The Libra Company have always invested wisely when it comes to their website and are very aware that a site should evolve with the company. One year after the launch of the Libra site, MD Paul McLaughlin returned to @UK to request a ''facelift'' for the site, to fit with a new corporate image, and is very pleased with the new look web site;

"We wanted to try something different, freshen up the site, and use some animation to showcase our products. This has been achieved with the minimum of fuss without affecting the content itself, and overall I am delighted with the latest version!"

The Libra Company supply a fairly exclusive range of high quality furniture and accessories, housewares, gifts, garden furniture and garden accessories to retailers and interior designers.

They originally approached @UK through our partner Vipamedia, who specialise in click and create publishing, and needed to be able to take the entire Libra catalogue, upload it and and ''ecommerce'' it, to enable customers to create an order online.

The company profits for 2007 were up 23% on the previous year – partly thanks to the website;

"I am delighted at the response from our customer base to the new Libra website. The market research conducted by Libra on its customerbase at the outset of this project pointed to the fact that many customers would not venture onto the site, preferring the more traditional paper-based presentation. In spite of this we have been pleasantly surprised at the interest and subsequent orders which the site has generated."
