Company Name - Companies house restrictions for Sole Trader, Partnership, Limited Partnership

If you consider setting up as a Sole Trader, Partnership or a Limited Partnership, the chosen name should:

  • Not include the terms Limited, Ltd, Public Limited Company, PLC, Limited Liaility Partnership, LLP or any Welsh equivalent.
  • Strong>Not be offensive.
  • Not be identical or similar to an existing one.
  • Not include Sensitive Words or Expressions unless persmission has been obtained from the secretary of State.
