Michael Fallon, (Business Minister) launched the StartUp Britain bus on Saturday morning (July 13th) this summer to assist and to help improve the number of businesses started in 2013.
It is the third year for this initiative of a bus filled with start up experts and business gurus going to 25 towns and cities across Britain to support the increasing number of those becoming entrepreneurs in the UK.
Included in this tour is a competition to see who can come up with the best idea for UK growth .The prize being £10,000 put forward personally by Lawrence Tomlinson, Entrepreneur in Residence at the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills. The winner of this contest will be announced on Friday 22nd November 2013
It has also seen the launch of a Marketing4StartUp Britain Week – when the top marketing agencies in the country offer free marketing tips for start-ups.
